General Abbas Ibrahim has always been a prominent advocate for human rights in Lebanon and the region. General Ibrahim was one of the first figures to make tangible efforts to release political detainees and promote personal freedoms in Lebanon. He also played a key role in facilitating negotiations to resolve complex humanitarian issues, such as securing the release of hostages and providing protection to individuals in conflict zones.
His deep belief that human rights are the foundation of political and social stability led him to adopt policies that serve the Lebanese citizens and guarantee them a dignified life. Under his leadership, many humanitarian issues made significant progress, making him a pivotal figure in promoting human rights in Lebanon and the region.
